Below is a range of images and projects that I have worked on during my Graphic Design college course. This varies from album covers, to juice cartons and magazine layouts.

Unit 49: Specialist Illustration Using Computer Applications was a unit which tasked me to create a series of fruit juice cartons. I created the image in Illustrator and placed it into context with Photoshop

I chose to use Tropicana for the brand as it is a well-known fruit juice brand, and has a simple yet effective design on their cartons.

The last in the series is the mango juice carton. Overall, this unit developed my skills in both Illustrator and Photoshop, and encouraged me to use tools and methods that I wouldn't usually use.

This final piece was created as a part of Unit 2: Materials, Techniques & Processes. The unit was created to help me define the process towards making a final piece.

I experimented with using Adobe software for the first time on the course within this unit. I used different tools, my favourite being the gradient tool, which created this outcome.

As a part of Unit 1: Visual Recording, I was tasked to used traditional methods and digitise them to create a book cover of my choice.

For Unit 3: Ideas & Concepts, I was "hired by a client of a sweet company" to redesign their previous logo. This unit focused on target audience, and branding.

Unit 12: Computers in Art and Design encouraged me to use digital methods to redesign an album cover of my choice. I chose this album as an avid Harry Styles fan.

The back cover design helped me develop my skills as a designer, by working with colour palettes, the front and back cover must have the same feel.

I was assigned for, Unit 40: Typographical Layout Design, to create a double page spread for the Taylor Wessing Photography Portrait Prize.

To match the double page magazine spread, I was also tasked to create a similar pop up banner to be displayed outside of the National Portrait Gallery for the event.

During my research, I created another magazine spread to experiment with colour. This specific design did not fit the style of the event, however I like the vivid colours.

I chose to raise awareness for alcohol addiction, and made my own strap line "throw out a line", indicating a pun between a phone line, and a life-saving ring.

I decided to create two advertisements for VW as I liked both of these designed, and I felt that the reflected the brand perfectly.

Unit 42: Design for Advertising tasked me to create advertisements for VW and the NHS. The main challenge for this unit is to help further my ideas of how to research branding.

As a part of my college course, I was tasked to create a DVD insert for a movie of my choice. It had to be highly manipulated, so I created this in Photoshop and later added the text within Illustrator.

Along with the DVD cover, I had to make an accompanying movie poster. I used the same imagery as the DVD cover, but edited parts that would be featured on a poster.
